WHAT IS THE COURSE ABOUT?
This course aims to give delegates a thorough understanding of exercise physiology and programming. The aim of this module is to cover the following areas in both theory and practice:
- Aerobic and anaerobic fitness
- Training effects produced by aerobic training
- Muscle function, fibre types and training effects
- Energy production and programming
- Exercise prescription in general and specifically for fat loss

HOW IS IT ASSESSED?
Direct observation of two different training systems and stretches.
12-week periodised programme.

All course materials will be provided. If you have any of the following, please bring them with you:
- Heart rate monitor
- Skinfolds
- Tape measure
