- Expand your anatomical knowledge to include the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle complex, the deep stabilising core muscles and the superficial mobilising core muscles
- Expand and develop your exercise library with practical exercises that are multi plane and functional
- Understand the kinetic chain and kinetic chain dysfunctions
- Use PNF stretch techniques to include nerve and muscle stretching

What qualificiations are needed?
- Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing

- Kinetic chain and postural analysis
- Deep and superficial muscle anatomy
- Compound vs isolation exercises
- Multi plane and open and closed chain exercises
- Contraindicated Movements
- The Muscular System and Muscle Physiology
- Biomechanical Principals
- Movement Analysis – Applied Kinesiology
How is it assessed?
- Assessment by technical observation throughout the course and level 3 Exercise and Fitness Knowledge exam optional

- Pre-reading on anatomy is useful. All course materials will be provided.
