    to exercise.

  • Gym Instructors who want to be able to design and instruct safe and effective programmes for adolescents in a gym environment.

What Qualifications are needed?

  • Candidates must hold a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym) or equivalent.

This qualification comprises two mandatory units:

  • Unit 1 - Physical, Mental, Cognitive and Emotional development of adolescents in relation to gym instruction
  • Unit 2 - Principles of Adapting Gym Instruction for Adolescents
